Food and drinks in Hotel Triglav

Had such a great stay here. The views from the balcony room were amazing to wake up to every morning and the lake itself is only a 5 minute walk away if you take the path directly opposite the station. Breakfast could also not be faulted at all. A wide selection and you could pick however many dishes you wanted. The waiter was also lovely and friendly. Some reviews state it is a long way to walk to the main “centre” which I partly agree with (approx 2-2.5km if you walk clockwise starting at the rowing centre) however there are also restaurants that are closer which are dotted around the lake. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in Lake Bled.

Lovely boutique hotel with stunning views over the lake. Beautiful rooms and common areas. Lovely, quiet swimming pool. Excellent quality breakfast. Quiet location. Suited me near train station coming from Italy. Really comfy bed with good quality linen. Shower worked well with reliable pressure and hot water. Lots of toiletries provided. Handy kettle and minibar.

Pluses: This hotel boasts a truly beautiful view, which was a highlight of our stay. The provision of free bicycles was a great bonus, allowing us to explore the surrounding area easily. We also appreciated the availability of the pool and sauna, perfect for relaxation. Overall, we found the food to be good and the service to be commendable. While the hotel is located near a train line, we were pleasantly surprised that didn't hear the train at all during our stay.

Restaurant/places to eat in Hotel Triglav

The hotel is a lovely building with a breathtaking view of Lake Bled and the surrounding mountains. The staff were very friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble - including accommodating my gluten free diet, phoning a local attraction (Vogel Cable Car) to make sure it was running and ensuring I used the correct stamps as well as mailing my postcards home. Also, arranging a late check out (as our return flight was in the evening) and taxi to the airport. Our comfortable room, including a big bathroom, had a balcony overlooking the lake which was stunning and the hotel's dedication to promoting wellbeing and environmentally friendly practices is admirable. I also enjoyed using the spa / swimming pool, treating myself to a fabulous massage - what's not to like!

The Hotel has a great location on a very good place, it met our expectations, everything was amazing, just like in the photos. The room was comfortable with a great view and big balcony, very clean and cozy. The breakfast was nice but could be better, and the dinner was really tasty and unique very impressive on the taste side but the menu needs work they can offer at least double of what they have now very limited menu no options and every day is same so if you stay longer you need to eat out more. The pool area is open and has a great view the water was very nice and warm. The sauna also very good. They offer a massage also. The hotel has its own parking and you can rent a bike if you want free of charge. They also offer a local tours they are a great opportunity to visit the country side. Everything is walkable and in great distance.

Lake view, Bed in Hotel Triglav

Where do I start? Truly one of the loveliest hotels I've stayed in. From the moment I arrived I felt so comfortable and well cared for. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a really homely feel. The building is absolutely beautiful, full of character and charm, antique furniture, rugs and paintings - all completely individual - and there are lots of quiet little nooks where you can settle into a comfortable chair and read or just stare at the view (it's hard to take your eyes off it). I loved that the hotel was right away from Bled town centre at the quiet end of the lake. That might be a problem for some people but not for me. It took me 30 mins to walk there with my suitcase from the bus stop. (Beware: the lakeside path is mainly flat but there are then very steep steps to get up to the road where the hotel is. Fortunately for me, someone came along and offered to carry my case up them for me). However, once there it felt beautifully serene and quiet, tucked away in the trees overlooking the lake. The breakfast was amazing. It is not set out as a buffet and the menu looks a little bit odd at first and it can feel awkward asking for lots of different things, but the restaurant staff really encourage you to order whatever you like, so you can really have a delicious banquet. I liked that there were several other solo travellers so I didn't feel at all out of place.

The hotel has an excellent location! The breakfast was personalized and exceeded our expectations. The room had a nice balcony and it was spotlessly clean. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The hotel looks understaffed, but those who work there are nice and helpful.

Facade/entrance in Hotel Triglav

The hotel is an historical one right on the bank of Lake Bled. The position is amazing: it’s really outside the train station. To reach the lake you need big lumps and just a walk of 25’ to start your excursion around it. The room was perfectly fine and the pool as well. An extremely positive note goes to the breakfast, which is savoury and totally à-la-carte: as you accomodate you are given a menu from which you can order what you want the many times you want. That’s perfect to receive freshly cooked plates and to avoid wasting. Of course all was typically local food 😍 Another positive point goes to the kind reception lady, the miss with flashy hair: even though I made her so so so many requests, she was always happy to help and to give helpful advises. Thanks so much! 🙏🏼

Food and drinks in Hotel Triglav

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Triglav! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my experience special. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful—since I arrived earlier than the check-in time after a night of travel, she made the necessary arrangements so I could get my room a bit early, which I truly appreciated. The room itself was lovely—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The wellness area was also a highlight, featuring three small saunas and a pool with a stunning view of Lake Bled. The attention to detail was remarkable, especially with the Valentine's weekend touches—heart-shaped chocolates on the bed, fruit and water in the room, and everything I needed for the wellness area, including bathrobes, slippers, and towels. The staff throughout my stay were attentive and welcoming. The breakfast, which was included, was another highlight. It was served à la carte, and everything was beautifully presented. The eggs Benedict were fantastic, and the selection of coffee, croissants, butter, honey, and jam was simply delightful—everything tasted fresh and high-quality. I also had the pleasure of attending one of their wine tastings, and Tylan (hope I got the name right!) was fantastic. His deep knowledge and passion for wine made the experience truly enjoyable. Overall, my stay at Hotel Triglav was wonderful, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!
